On one hand, our mind can be a great resource. On the other hand, it can be a bully. It enables us to read and understand these words, helps us organize information, and enables us to set goals. It’s a bully though when we fall into negative thought patterns. We’re typically unaware of our thought patterns, but when we connect with our spiritual self, we can be amazed at what we hear when we pay attention to our thoughts. To guide our thoughts in the direction we want them to take, we can use tools such as meditation, affirmations, inspirational readings, and visualizations. We can also limit our mind’s exposure to toxic or negative thoughts.
