A recent study shows that loneliness is as bad for your health as obesity. Brigham Young University conducted the research, and found that the risk of loneliness is even greater in the younger population than in older folks. They also discovered that there are two types of loneliness. One is having people around and still feeling lonely, and the second is being isolated from others. Both are bad for your health, and according to the study, there are record numbers of people worldwide who are living alone. This factor is worrisome for an epidemic of loneliness.
