You are in a relationship and you find yourself arguing with your partner. Why? Some of it is basic chemistry. We are attracted to people who are different from us. If we are exactly alike, we don’t grow and learn. This in itself will cause friction. Here’s an example: If your partner says that he believes this or that but you don’t, your partner can feel that he has to be right or he’s losing a part of himself. You can feel the same. So to feel safe, he will defend his point of view. You’ll take your stand, and you now have an argument.
