We all have trouble sleeping occasionally, but if you’re not sleeping well several nights per week for three months or more, then it’s likely you have insomnia. Some medications can mess with your body’s sleep cycle in a variety of ways, such as interfering with REM sleep, and disrupting the chemicals in your brain. Numerous drugs contain caffeine. All of these factors, and more, can cause sleep problems.
