How to Release the Grip of Anxiety

Like a predator lurking beneath your skin, anxiety crawls up your scalp, threatening to devour everything, and is never satisfied. A dreaded phone call can cause anxiety, but you can release those feelings by telling yourself to trust, to take care, that all is well. It works because you get what you’re looking for; if you expect anxiety, you’ll get it; if you program yourself for calm, you’ll get that. When you allow for space between things, you create a pathway for positive energy to run through you. Instead of hiding from it, embrace the pain that comes to you. Try to understand why it’s there. What is it trying to tell you?
