How to Believe in Yourself in the Face of Overwhelming Self-Doubt

Self-doubt can be an ugly creature that sneaks in and poisons our greatest desires in life. Thoughts of “I’ll never be good enough” or “What if I fail?” are easy to come by and hard to ignore. Just “trying to be positive” and ignoring those thoughts is not enough, and can actually be self-defeating. Our self-doubt is a part of ourselves; a part that we must address and not ignore. When you find yourself saying “I’m not good enough,” follow it up with “not yet” and make a plan on how to improve. It is important and healthy to allow yourself to fail so you can learn from your mistakes.
